TECHNIQUE

  1. Protect area from overspray with newspaper.
  2. Ensure vases are clean. Mask the top third of vase with masking tape.
  3. Invert vase on protected area. Approximately 12" from the surface, spray the vase with Black Chrome in parallel, back and forth strokes. Apply 1 light coat which will appear translucent. Let dry. Apply a second coat. When dry, remove the masking tape.
  4. Plant succulents in vase with the soil line below the paint line. Top dress with small natural pebbles.
Project Tip: For ease of application, set the vases on a plastic turntable and rotate while spraying. Modern Metals produces a scratch-resistant durable finish on hard surfaces, including glassware!
