MayDay.jpg MayDaycraft_sm.jpgdesign by Cathy Skraba

TOOLS AND MATERIALS

Design Master Sprays - COLORTOOL Sprays IVORY, OLIVE BRIGHT - 2 white, water resistant, decorative paper sleeves and one plastic pot from Cathy'sWraps - hole punch - exacto knife or scissors - circle template or small coin - glue gun - 1 1/2" width chartreuse ribbon - bunch of tulips

TECHNIQUE

  1. Following directions on the can, spray one paper sleeve with Olive Bright the other with Ivory.
  2. Punch holes in the ivory painted sleeve to create a dotted-swiss pattern. Use a circle template or small coin to create a scallop design at the bottom. Cut with an exacto knife or scissors.
  3. Overylay the sleeves and nestle in the pot.
  4. To make hanger, punch holes through both the soft plastic pot and the paper sleeves, using the perforated circles as a guide. Add ribbon and knot ends.
  5. Tie a length of ribbon around the pot. Make a bow. Hot glue both to the Ivory sleeve.
  6. Arrange flowers and celebrate May Day with friends, neighbors, teachers and co-workers!
Project Tip: Sweet, giftable home accent that can adapt to anytime of the year. Change flower selection to what's available in the garden. Cathy's Wraps available at http://www.cathyswraps.com
