TECHNIQUE

1. Cut Creamy Cocoa Cardstock into 7" x 10" piece. Fold into 5" x 7" card. Cut remaining cardstock into 2" x 2 1/2" piece and set aside. Then cut floral paper into 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece, circle paper into 3 1/4" x 3 1/2" piece, and natural paper into 5" x 7" piece.
2. Using cotton swab dipped in water, wet edges of handmade paper. Tear edges, creating a 4 3/4" x 6 3/4" piece. Let dry. Use glue stick to attach handmade paper piece to front of card. Tear edges around floral and circle papers, tearing toward you. Cover work surface with newspapers in a well-ventilated area. Lightly spray papers with Pecan Home Décor Stain to give an antique look. Let dry.
3. Spray frame with 14 KT Gold spray. Let dry. Spray over Gold with October Brown. Spray small amount of Mess Master into cap of spray can. Dip cotton swab into Mess Master and lightly rub off October Brown from raised areas of frame to allow Gold to show through.
4. Use glue stick to attach floral paper on top of natural paper. Then attach circle paper to center of floral paper with glue stick. Glue 2" x 2 1/2" piece of cardstock to center of circle paper with glue stick.
5. Attach quote onto white cardstock. Cut ribbon into two 4" pieces. Loop ribbon into knot around each side of frame. Center frame over quote and attach with glue stick.
