TOOLS AND MATERIALS
Design Master Sprays - COLORTOOL Sprays TEAL BLUE, COPPER / PRAIRIE GRASS, ROBIN'S EGG, CHAMPAGNE SILVER - Dark Green Plastic Vase / Clear Plastic Vase - Water Misting Bottle - Paper Towel - Newspapers - Jewelry Wire - Complementing Colors of Beads - 1 yd Decorative Ribbon
TECHNIQUE
Dark Blue Vase:- Protect work area from overspray with newspapers.
- If dark green vase is not available, basecoat any plastic vase with 2 coats of Hunter Green.
- Mist water onto the vase surface.
- Randomly spray Teal Blue over water droplets.
- Promptly DAB off water and excess spray with paper towel. DO NOT WIPE. Let surface dry.
- Mist water on vase surface again, then spray with Copper.
- Promplty DAB off water and excess Copper spray. Let dry.
- If desired, apply a protective top coat of Design Master Clear Finish for added durablity.
- String complementing colored beads on jewelry wire. Attach strand to loosely fit around vase.
- Protect work area from overspray with newspapers.
- Basecoat clear vase with 2 coats of Prairie Grass. Let dry.
- Mist water onto painted vase surface and randomly spray with Robin's Egg.<.li>
- Promplty DAB off water and excess spray with paper towel. DO NOT WIPE. Let surface dry.
- Repeat MIST/SPRAY/DAB steps using Champagne Silver. Let dry.
- If desired, apply a protective top coat of Design Master Clear Finish for added durablity.
- Embellish with a simple bow tie around vase neck.
